This Session aims to discuss and debate the changing roles of the public and private sectors’ involvement in funding and supporting of research and post-research activities for the implementation of innovative policy, organizational and administrative solutions related to road infrastructure, safety, and maintenance on one hand and Connected and Autonomous Vehicles on the other hand. Over the past few years, we are witnessing a remarkable transformation in the role and types of involvement of the public and private sectors in Transport Research and Innovation activities in general.
