Individual Papers

PIARC had organised an international call for individual papers, as for each World Road Congress.

Contributions were solicited on 41 specific themes, in order to enrich and broaden the work and reflections of PIARC's Technical Committees and Task Forces. The papers had been evaluated by the Technical Committees and Task Forces through a very careful review mechanism.

The authors of the selected papers were invited to make a presentation at the poster sessions. These posters are accessible from the pages of the individual papers presented by theme.
In addition, some authors were invited to give a presentation during the technical sessions.
