The panel session aims to showcase the importance of road infrastructure and the construction industry in bringing better connectivity to women. Understanding that the needs and challenges for women and men are often different, the session will show the importance of design and planning for roads with considering gender as an important indicator of travel needs and behaviour. It will show the key role of Road Agency authorities to enhance the accessibility to economic opportunities and services for women.
