After a brief presentation of the main results published by the World Health Organization in the 2018 progress report, the session will be devoted to a presentation of some of the most significant aspects of the national reports that were prepared for this Congress. A discussion will be held at the end of the session on the lessons to be learned from the difficulties encountered in updating the national action plans and prioritising actions to improve the overall effectiveness of national road safety policies.
